The club promotes its annual cyclocross this year on the 31st of December up at Thornbridge. As last year, we're putting on a prestigious category 'A' event, which will attract some of the best riders in the country as they tune up for the national championships on the following weekend.
Help would be appreciated, both to set up the course on the 30th (this takes a couple of hours in the morning) and on race day itself, marshalling/signing-on/taking the course down etc.
If you're able to help out, even if it's only for a few hours, then please let me know, either on here, by phone on 01246 590228/07902 239079 or via email at lee.shunburneATnottingham.ac.uk

Hi Lee,
I can help on the Friday. What time do you need me at Thornbridge? I'm travelling from Crich, does anybody need a lift?
Andrew (the one with the Kona mountain bike!)
Thanks Andrew - 9.30 is generally when we start.
You looked to be going alright last week on the retro-wagon :-)
Hi Lee,
I can help on the 30th if you need another pair if hands?
Cheers
Neil
Thanks to everyone who turned out over the two days to help put on a great set of races. Feedback from riders was great and I really appreciate all the assistance, whether it was putting the course up, marshalling, cleaning dirty numbers or mopping dirty floors! Race day itself is a very long one and the event wouldn't happen without a lot of help.
We had over 300 riders throughout the day and a massive 179 starters in the main race.
There's a piece on the BCF website here -
