Sherwood '25' - 21.06.08
Matlock CC’s Matt Ingram rode the Sherwood CC ‘25’ on Saturday which uses the A1 between Cromwell and Long Bennington. On the day a strong Southerly wind made the outward leg really slow, however at the turn Matt was then blown back up the A1 to finish in exactly one hour! Although this was slower than his time last year of 58-12 to record 60 minutes on a windy day is no mean feat. Chapeau Matt.
BDCA '10' - 21.06.08
Matlock CC’s Chris Sharp took part in the BDCA ‘10’ on Saturday evening which uses the Etwall – Foston – Etwall course on the A50. Despite a slowish night Chris recorded a new personal best to finish in 23-36 whilst riding fixed. The event was won by scratchman James Perkins of Zenith CC.
