Riber and Bank Road Hill Climb Preview
This Sunday is the now annual double header of Riber hill climb (10am) followed by Bank Road Hill climb (2pm). A handful of riders will even sandwich the climbs with the Beeley Hill Climb at 12!
Both climbs have some formidable riders entered, and the winners are likely to come from a select group of riders including past national champion James Dobbin, Riber record holder Dave Clarke, and in-form Robert Gough and Charles Taylor, winner of last weekends Monsal Head hill climb.
A good turn out of Matlock riders for both climbs will also see the return from injury of Chris Sharp, and a possible challenge for the win from guest rider James Latimer who resides in Innsbruck, and is well used to climbing!
The youths are also well represented, watch out for Arthur Green who carries good form from his 'cross racing, and Patrick Smart whose speed on the chaingang continues to astound!
