N&DCX Round 7 - Bramcote Park 25.10.08
MAIN EVENT
Current NDCXL leader Ben Eedy showed his class by winning with a 15 second margin over visitor Keith Murray. Matlock CC veteran Chris Green in 5th place won the race for veterans and in so doing continued to hold the lead overall in the League after six events but Ben Eedy is closing on him!
Another big turn out - especially the youngster’s riders but not quite a record!

UNDER 12 YEAR OLDS
It’s getting to be expected! Arthur Green again unbeaten so far this season but on this occasion, right up to the finish line, he and Thomas Weeds were inseparable but Arthur saw to it in the last few yards that his front wheel was ahead of his rival.
In the girl's race, Holly Gould was fourth girl.
UNDER 10 YEAR OLDS
The racing at Bramcote Park for the young riders was on a flatter circuit than previous rounds and Matlock's John Webster - on his mountain bike - was at a disadvantage to those on lighter bikes and so he couldn't repeat his win in the previous round; with BMX rider Louis Grey-Blest taking the win. Our John was fourth but Matlock were once again the fastest team with Harry Morley seventh and Thomas Webster seventeenth.
